Frequently asked questions

Answers about the current core release.

Frequently asked questions about the DaamDesk v0.30.0 core plugin.

Is DaamDesk self-hosted?

Yes. DaamDesk is a WordPress plugin installed on a WordPress website that you or your hosting provider manage.

What are the minimum requirements?

The plugin package declares WordPress 6.2 or later and PHP 7.4 or later. Keep WordPress, PHP, and other site components maintained and check the requirements again when upgrading.

Which business workflows are included?

DaamDesk includes customer records, products/services, quotations, orders, invoices, payments, business settings, a customer portal, AI Assistant, support tickets, payment gateway settings, and software activation.

Which online payment gateways are included?

The v0.30.0 core package contains PayHere and PayPal integrations. PayHere checkout supports LKR and USD invoices in this build. Both gateway workflows require administrator verification before the payment is approved in DaamDesk.

Does DaamDesk support automatic recurring billing?

The product/service form has a “Recurring” billing type labelled “record only”. Do not assume automated recurring charges or subscription scheduling are included.

Can I create multi-line quotations?

Not in v0.30.0. The current quotation form supports one product/service line per quotation.

Do I need to activate DaamDesk?

Yes. Activate DaamDesk before using the software. Open DaamDesk → License, enter the activation server URL and activation key supplied with your purchase, save the settings, and select Activate license. Confirm that the displayed status indicates successful activation.

How do customers access their portal?

Create a WordPress page and add the [businessdesk_portal] shortcode. The same page displays sign-in when the visitor is logged out and the portal after sign-in.

Which AI provider is integrated?

The v0.30.0 AI Assistant calls Google Gemini using an API key configured by the administrator.

How do I get help?

Contact Arriyon support and include the DaamDesk version, WordPress/PHP versions, exact issue, and troubleshooting steps. Do not send passwords, merchant secrets, AI API keys, or full licence keys.
